81, of North Las Vegas passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was born December 8, 1929, in Pocatello, Idaho to Charles and Clara Nelson. Wyla has two siblings Fred (deceased) and Jan Jarvis (George). She married Howard Hollingsworth on June 27, 1951, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Wyla graduated from Idaho State University. She moved to Las Vegas in 1955. Wyla taught piano lessons for more than 40 years. She served in the Southern Nevada Music Teachers Association, the Community Concert Series, and faithfully in many church callings throughout the years. Wyla has seven children: Rebecca (deceased), Norman (JoLynn), Daniel (Rebecca), David (Michelle), Cynthia Rudolphi (Robert), Theresa Corry, Richard (Dawn), sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22 followed by the funeral at 2:00p.m at the LDS Civic Center and Tonopah Chapel, 2401 E. Tonopah Ave.
