William ”BILL” Loyal Hinkson, Weston, Idaho, was born in Wesleyville, Pennsylvania, the son of Loyal Hinkson & Margaret Church on June 28, 1929. He left this world on September 20, 2021.
BILL’s life was filled with service to God, Country, Community, and FAMILY.
While in Germany, serving in the Air Force, he met & married Emma Stolz in 1951. Their life was filled with travel and excitement with nieces and nephews, whom they loved dearly. She was taken early from this life in 1997.
While attending Singles activities he met Karen and they were soon married in the Los Angeles Temple. BILL then had an instant family of 5 children & 18 grandkids. They then spent 23 years together enjoying life, eating chocolate, traveling to visit family, eating chocolate, attending church functions, meeting friends for bfast, hospital visits, delivering meals to the sick, surgeries, enjoying chocolates, church service, ham radioing, flying, on city commissions and boards, and eating dark chocolate.
Bill started his WORK years at the age of 5, working for the circus with his parents, he had many adventurous jobs including logging, running a mule train, and taxi cab driving in Los Angeles. He later went into technical writing for about 25 years. Writing up procedures for aerospace, aircraft, and oil field industries. He also wrote a few poems, stories, and magazine articles.
Bill is survived by Karen Hinkson, wife, Deb & Rob Hendrickson, Rick Carver, David L Carver, Mike & Diana Carver, Cynthia Campos-Martin, Dorothy Thompson & Betty Smith - sisters, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandkids, nieces & nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by Emma, wife; Loyal & Margaret, parents; Muriel Cobb, sister; Charles & Martha Davis, brother-in-law & sister-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 1st @ 11am (Viewing @ 10am) at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14801 Osage Ave, Lawndale, CA 90260.
