Whitney, Idaho - - - William E. "Bill" Chadwick
Whitney - William Earl "Bill" Chadwick, 78, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born on January 16, 1933 in Preston, Idaho to Earl and Amy May Sant Chadwick. He attended school in Preston and then served in the Army in the Korean War from 1953-1955.
William never married but was a good friend to all. He always raised a big garden to share with his family. He loved collecting cars and trucks and loved making them look nice. Bill had a good sense of humor and loved laughing and having a good time. He always had ice cream for company and treats for the kids. He loved family gatherings and always brought watermelon and ice cream in the summer and pie in the winter. He had good neighbors and always would tell us about them and coming to see him.
William is survived by his sisters Georgia (Stanley) Bingham, of Preston, ID; Margaret (James) Klasse, of Westbrook, Minn; and his brother Grant (Linda) Chadwick, of Lewiston, UT; and a sister-in-law Deanna Chadwick, of Oregon. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby sister, Jane, and brothers Delbert and Thomas Chadwick.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho with Bishop Lynn Womack conducting. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Whitney Cemetery.
