Veloy H Auger

BOTHWELL - Veloy H. Auger, born March 29, 1926, passed away on June 16, 2012. Veloy grew up in Preston, Idaho on Glendale Reservoir. His life was filled with various interests and many types of employment. His passion was dowsing, which brought him much happiness and fulfillment and took him on adventures around the world. He married the former Junelin Perkins who preceded him in death on April 15, 1991. They raised their six children together in Glendale until 1974, after which they moved to Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and gave many years of dedicated service to his church callings.

Veloy married Bonnie Morgan, of Bothwell, UT in August 2001. They enjoyed traveling and visiting family. Veloy is a tremendous example and influence in the lives of his family. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, wit, love of a good story, and willingness to always lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Morgan Auger, his nine children; Loylyn Hawkes (Stanley), Lazell Auger (Elaine), Charles Auger (Susan), Wayne Auger ( Jane), Bridgette Garner (Carl), Jennifer Auger (Mike), Alisha VanDerlinden (Phil), J.R. Morgan (Becky), James Morgan (Jen), 29 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bothwell LDS Chapel with Brother Steve Skinner conducting. Viewings will be held Tuesday, June 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 in Preston, ID and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bothwell Chapel 10350 W. 11600 N.
