Tyra Beth Chipman

Tyra Beth Stenberg Chipman, 79, daughter of Guy and Ora (Nelson) Stenberg, cherished mother, sister, aunt and cousin passed away comfortable on Friday, November 6, 2015 in Vista, California.

Tyra provided unwavering care for her son Colin, while working as a property manager the past 25 years. She was filled with a wonderful sense of humor, loving heart, and the ability to cook and bake beyond belief. She loved to garden, prepare delightful meals with fresh vegetables, and delicious desserts with fresh fruit. The Preston, Idaho family bakery lived on through her as she eagerly shared and passed along her 14 favorite family recipes in her "TYRA B. BAKEBOOK" production. Friends and family were always excited to see Tyra and grateful whe she showed up with a fresh pie or pan of warm dinner rolls.

She traveled extensively in her younger days and finally slowed down a bit in southern California. She was surrounded by loving family, caring friends and devoted care providers as she began her peaceful journey to heaven. Join us in celebrating Tyra and her life well lived, full of love, laughter and a loaf of fresh baked bread.

She is preceded in death by her son Colin Chipman. She is survived by her brother Michael (Julie) Stenberg, and nieces Aubree and Aimee, a nephew Richard and (Gina) Titus, and nieces Sherry (Lori) Titus and Annette (Steve) King, as well as many great nieces and nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho.  A visitation will take place from 12:00-12:45 prior to the services.
