Tony Bruce Izatt

The mighty hunter, Tony Bruce Izatt, 62, went on his last great hunt on Oct. 26, 2022, at home in Weston, ID.  He was born Oct. 22, 1960, in Logan, UT to Bruce Izatt and Sharon Kidman. 

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1979 and started working in the oil fields in Texas. He married Rebecca Uherek on August 22, 1981, in Waller, Texas. They had two sons and a daughter who he loved very much. Tony was a hard worker and spent his life working as a Union pipefitter/welder. Tony loved archery and used to compete around the state at different matches. He enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He loved to spend time with family and friends and to take his grandkids on four-wheeler rides. His grandkids were the light of his life and knew they were loved by him. He will be dearly missed.

Tony is survived by his wife, Rebecca Izatt of Weston, ID; by two sons and one daughter, Brian Izatt, Kevin (Megan) Izatt of Paradise, UT and Toni Lynn (Levi) Cann of Preston, ID; 8 grandsons (Nickolas, Domonick, Lucas, Nathan, Wyatt, William, Agie, Riley) and two granddaughters (Natasha, Emily); by two brothers Brady Izatt of South Jordan, UT and Trevin (Brandi) Eckersly of Houston, TX; and by his Mother-in-Law Barbara Wendt of Waller, TX. Tony was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Izatt, Sharon Kidman, Stepmother Carma Izatt and by his Father-in-Law Agie Uherek. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Linrose Ward Building, 825 North Westside Hwy, Dayton, ID. The services will be streamed live and may be watched Tuesday at 2 p.m. (MST) by clicking on the following link:
