Tina May Hill passed away peacefully on March 6, 2016 at the Logan Regional Hospital with her sister Rose and other family and a close friend by her side. Tina was born on October 12, 1956 in Reno, Nevada to Eugene and Rosella May Byington Hill. Her sister Rosella Ann Hill was born June 14, 1966. Tina started kindergarten in Preston, Idaho and she attended school in Preston until graduating from Preston High School.
When Rose started kindergarten they family had moved back to Idaho and were living in Battle Creek which was later named Hot Springs Road, Preston, Idaho. Rose remembers that Tina would hold her hand on the way to school. Rose would go to her class and Tina would go to hers. Rose had other ideas as she would slip out of her class to go find Tina. This usually got Tina in trouble with her teacher.
After Tina Graduated from high school she moved to Ogden, Utah to help her aunt with a daycare. She stayed there about two years. She then went back to Preston to work at the Preston Nursing Home as a CNA for a few years. She later moved back to Nevada to be with her father. She lived with him for a while until he helped her get a mobile home and a small piece of property. While living in Nevada she worked as a CNA at several different places. She was in Nevada about 20-25 years.
Tina's mom died July 17, 1999, this prompted Tina to move back to Utah. She lived in Cache Valley and worked again as a CNA. She had an opportunity to work at a few different nursing homes during this time. About this time her cousin Donald Byington was in a nursing home. She would visit him often. They were more than family and became fast friends. Even when her health began failing and she retired, she continued to visit Donald. After her retirement she enjoyed staying in contact with friends and family and regularly called to visit with them. She has resided in Richmond, Utah for about three and half years.
One of her best friends, Dr. Goble, who was not even a great doctor but a special friend who was Tina until her last breath. Tina had many fun hobbies, she loved to read, study educational books, and do word search puzzles. She would find anything you many want on her computer. If you wanted a pet or anything else she would find it for you. She loved to visit and would do anything for others.
Tina had her special family, her dogs Brandy and Tinker Bell, and Coco, and her beautiful bird, Peanuts.
