Preston - Thomas Radcliff, 73, resident of Preston, Idaho passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2012 at his home in Preston, Idaho. Thomas was born to Britton Burdette Radcliff and Katie Cleo Rigdon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 8, 1939. Tom married his high school sweetheart, Anita Marie Rhoads. Later they were baptized members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple.

Tom enjoyed designing and building everything from power plants to do-dads in the garage. He was a perfectionist in all he did. He loved fishing and camping with the family. He and Anita were blessed to do a lot of traveling after he retired. He also loved working on genealogy. He always had gum in his pocket so that he could have bubble gum blowing contests with his grandchildren.

Tom was employed with Pacific Gas and Electric Company until he retired. He worked hard until his health began to fail. He loved learning and taught himself many things including advanced math concepts. he loved talking about engineering, mechanics and construction with his children. Tom was a dedicated husband and father. He loved his wife and children with all of his heart. Tom also had fond memories of the time he spent with his brothers and sisters. They were his family and he loved them dearly.

Tom is survived by his children Tom Radcliff, Stacy Barton (Chris), Tim Radcliff (Lorie), and Joel Radcliff (Carolyn). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Radcliff, him parents, and a granddaughter Aubrey Radcliff.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
