Wellsville - Tanya Lynn Taylor Downs peacefully passed away August 28th with loved ones by her side. She was born on July 11, 1983 in Preston, Idaho to Darren Taylor and Kim Bellman Taylor. She graduated from Sky View High School. On August 10, Tanya joined Jake Downs, the love of her life after an eleven year courtship.

Tanya received and gave unconditional love to friends and family. Tanya loved to go camping with grandpa Sherm and had a great love of the outdoors. She loved horses and was proud of her sister Brook and her way with horses. Tanya loved all animals. She had 3 dogs Ziggy, Daisy and Stihl and had many pets growing up. Tanya loved spending time with her aunts and uncles and grandparents. A special thanks to Chad and Wade and the University of Utah Medical staff who stood by her side during her lung transplant and a special thanks also to the wonderful hospice staff who helped her at the end. She is loved by all and will be dearly missed. She was a very brave person.

She is survived by Jake, her mother Kim Layne, her father Darren Taylor, and her grandmother Charlene Taylor, sister Brook, and step-brother Taylor. She was preceded in death by grandpa Sherm, and two other grandparents.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 31st, from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Mortuary and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. She will be buried in the Lewiston Cemetery.
