Preston, Idaho - - - Sueann N. Haslam
Preston - Sueann Nelson Haslam, 50, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Heritage Park Care Center, in Roy, Utah. She was born on September 2, 1961 in Preston, Idaho to Leonard Deverl and Nedra Inez Godfrey Nelson. Sueann married Bruce Haslam on November 2, 1999 in Montpelier, Idaho.
Sueann loved the outdoors. She loved going on scenic rides to enjoy the area she lived in. She loved camping, especially with her family and loved to spend time with her family as well. She loved flowers and was known for her extensive flower garden she faithfully tended at home. She loved her dogs and enjoyed the companionship they provided to her.
She is survived by her husband Bruce, of Preston, ID; a son Kenneth (Helen) Miller, of Smithfield, UT; a daughter Shannon Garrett, of Preston; step-sons Trinity Kofoed, of Kemmerer, WY; Tyler (Amy) Kofoed, of Clinton, UT; Kory (Jennifer) Kofoed, of Preston; and Justin (Chelsea) Kofoed, of Preston; and a step-daughter Danielle (Robert) Sampson, of Preston; 18 grandchildren, siblings Valene Apgood, of Clarkston, UT; Wayne (Sandra) Nelson, of Kemmerer, WY; Cathlene (Larry) Miller, of Cokeville, WY; Brent (Diana) Nelson, of Evanston, WY; Janet (Brent) Hulet, of Malad, ID; Jerry Nelson, of Logan, UT; Johnny (Peggy) Nelson, of Tremonton, UT; and Deanne Brinn, of Preston, ID; and a step-sister, Shelly and her husband Steve, her mother-in-law Pat (Wayne) Winn, of Richmond, UT; brothers-in-law Brent Haslam, Kenneth (Leanne) Haslam, and sister-in-law Sheryl (Jim) McCune, all of Richmond, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her father-in-law, James Haslam and by a brother-in-law, Larry Apgood.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston 3rd Ward LDS Chapel 155 North 200 West in Preston with Bishop Leonard Ward conducting. A viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
