Stephan Joseph Ouert Sr.

Stephan Joseph Ouert Sr., 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home in Preston, Idaho. He was born on May 26, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas Westfall and Roberta Wilson. He married Lila Waldvogel on July 16, 1969 in Beaufort, North Carolina.

He served in the Marine Corps and later as a police officer. He enjoyed playing golf and watching NASCAR. He liked flying RC planes as well as spending time with his dear wife Lila.

He is survived by his wife Lila, and his children Stephanie Davis, Stewart Ouert, Joseph Ouert, Dominique Tice, Maria Ellege, Norma Nash, Angel Perrin, Carol Hill, Susan Wolfe, and Stephan Ouert Jr, 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is a also survived by a sister Susan Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons Jason Quillen and Joshua Ouert, and a granddaughter Rebecca Davis, and a daughter-in-law Donna Ouert.
