Preston - Sofia Ibrahim Mohammed Hull, 50, of Preston was reunited with her dear husband after a tragic automobile accident on Friday, November 4, 2011. Sofia was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, East Africa on January 7, 1961 to loving parents, Gebretensae and Ferkhetu Manna. Growing up Sofia loved to go to school, play sports, and be with her many brothers and sisters. When Sofia was young, a civil war broke out in her country so she fled to Saudi Arabia where she met her life companion, James Laird Hull of Logan, Utah. On January 31, 1985 Sofia and James were married in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. Later that same year, they were blessed with their first child, David Anthony. Soon after David was born, James and Sofia moved to Logan, Utah and then to Preston, Idaho where they made their home and where they were blessed with two daughters, Davina Ann and Danica Ash. Sofia's children were the light of her life and she enjoyed everyday that she was able to spend with her family.

Sofia is survived by her three children, David Anthony, Davina Ann and Danica Ash; her father, Gebretensae Manna; her brothers Tesfazgi, Joseph and Medhanie; her sisters Saba, Tsega, Elsa, and Mary; two sister-in-laws, Susan Hull Burstedt and Mary Kay Hull Lorch; and many nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her loving husband and her cherished mother.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston with Bishop Doug Larsen conducting. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Whitney Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
