Fairview, Idaho Sherwin T. NielsenFairview - Sherwin Thomas Nielsen, 74, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 in Logan, Utah at the Logan Regional Hospital. He was born November 20, 1933 in Richmond, Utah to Vincent V. and Lillie Agnes Miller Nielsen. He married Shirley Winn on March 26, 1951 in Ogden, Utah.Sherwin was self employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He also bred and raised horses as well as owned a cattle ranch in the Bear Lake Valley. He always enjoyed going to the cattle auctions, where he would see and visit with many of his friends and rarely missed an autction. He always enjoyed spending time with his family as well.He is survived by his wife Shirley, of Fairview; two sisters Dorothy Argyle, of Layton, UT; and Mary Lee (Scott) Goodwin, of Cornish, UT; two brothers Delmar Nielsen, of New Haven, UT; and Val (Joyce) Nielsen, of Salt Lake City, UT; a sister-in-law Billie Merle Nielsen, of Trenton, UT; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Dean Nielsen.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston.
