PRESTON, IDAHO - - - SHARON DERRICOTT

PRESTON- Sharon Bodily Derricott, 71, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Heritage Home in Preston. She was born April 11, 1939, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of George C. Bodily Jr. and Elsie Kidd. She married Delmar S. Derricott on April 19, 1962, in the Logan Utah Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in many church positions. She was an officiator in the Logan Temple for nine years. She loved handwork especially knitting. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and loved to travel with her sweetheart.

She is survived by her husband, Delmar S. Derricott of Preston; one daughter and four sons, Shara (Shawn) McDanel of Preston; David (Trena) Derricott of Mantua, Utah; Tony (Tara) Derricott of Rexburg, Idaho; Bryan (Linda) Derricott of Honolulu, Hawaii; Kent (Michelle) Derricott of Paradise, Utah; twenty-two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and by three sisters, Marilyn (Leon) Priestley of Preston; Julene (David) Kowallis of Syracuse, Utah; and Kristi (Grant) Ziegler of Kearns, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a brother, Scott Bodily, and by a granddaughter, Shaylee McDanel.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Preston Fifth Ward Chapel, 213 S. 200 E., Preston, Idaho, with Bishop Randy Wakley conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the church.
