I loved our time together serving as election judges years ago. She introduced me to Hillsdale College and their courses of study. I remember her reading a huge book on AmericaI knew she loved her country and her community. Any time I saw her she had a huge smile, a hello, and a hug. She made everyone into a friend. Her vivacious energy and enthusiasm for life, along with her wonderful sense of humor, made us all love her. We so appreciate all she did for our community as she served as our mayor. We will miss her greatly. Our prayers and condolences to Kevin and the children. She loved her family so very much.

Sharidean was my sweet, smart, funny cousin. We all loved getting together at grandma's pink house with the gladiolas and the banana tree. She was the oldest of her siblings and took good care of them. We will always remember her kindness and her sense of humor. We will miss you, Sharidean.
