Seaborn Bodily LaMont

Preston, Idaho Seaborn B. LaMontPreston - Seaborn Bodily LaMont, 88, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home in Logan, Utah. He was born on March 19, 1919 in Preston, Idaho to Frank Alder and Ruth Bodily LaMont. He married Virgil Orlene Wanner on December 3, 1941 in Preston, Idaho and they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Seaborn was a dairy farmer and loved horses and good horsemanship. He enjoyed watching cutter racing and race horses. He was a real joker and always liked a good prank keeping everyone on their toes. He is survived by his children, Karen (Cedar) Hodges, of Preston; Irene (Martin) Monical, who are serving a mission in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Marie (William) Bodily, Smithfield, UT; Margaret Nash, Murray, UT; Meladee (Stan) Barnes, Brigham City, UT; Wade (Judy) LaMont, Preston; and Bruce (Janean) LaMont, Preston; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren, a sister Lorna Follett, of Idaho Falls, ID; and a daughter-in-law, Susan LaMont, Chubbock, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Orlene, and a son Kimber LaMont, two sisters, Elva Telford and Berniece Davis,by two half-brothers, Frank LaMont and Bert LaMont, and by two great-grandsons, Christopher and Jeremiah Hodges.Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at 12:00 noon in the Preston 1st Ward chapel, 213 South 2nd East, in Preston with Bishop Brent Dodge conducting. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston and Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
