Clifton - Saramae Porter Jensen, 76, passed away on July 18, 2011 of congestive heart failure. She was born December 20, 1934 in Mapleton, Idaho, the 8th of 15 children born to George Riley and Laverna Wanner Porter. She married Henry A Jensen in the Logan, Utah LDS temple on October 6, 1960.
She learned the value of hard work and gained her love for animals by helping on the family farm. Her greatest love was her family.
Saramae is survived by her husband, two daughters, Desiree (Gary), Darla Mae (Gil), five sons: Ronald Jensen, Bradley (Ann) Jensen, Boyd (Carolee) Jensen, Odell (Jackie) Jensen, Wayne (Maria) Jensen, and 13 grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers Tharol (Mae) Porter, Rey (Karen) Porter, Rhoud (Sue) Porter, and four sisters: Ivalue, Georgia (Richard), Joen, and Seles (Frank). She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Clifton 2nd Ward chapel. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston and Saturday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the church.
