Space here isn’t nearly adequate to describe the vivacious and productive yet poignantly short life of Sarajane Malouf, just 24 years of age when her soul took flight. She was the first child born to Daniel Raymond Malouf and Natalie Olson (formerly Malouf) who lived in Logan UT then subsequently moved with her to Moscow, ID then Cascade, ID then Preston, ID up Cub River Canyon. By then she was blessed with 7 younger siblings Aneesa Anne Malouf-Fernandez, James R Malouf, Emma Louise Malouf, Samuel R Malouf, Nathaniel R Malouf, Russell R Malouf, and Jonathan R Malouf. Her parents divorced in 2017 and Sarajane got married in 2018 to Charles Olinger of Clifton, ID whom she left and divorced 5 years later and a year before her untimely death.

She leaves behind 2 precious sons, Calvin John Olinger (age 5) and Seth Phillip Olinger (age 2) along with all her siblings, parents, grandparents, and numerous other extended family and friends. Sarah loved good natural food, living and working close to the earth, making necklaces, a good long hike in the mountains, a wide variety of music and of course her two boys. She had a highly artistic/creative side that few knew yet she also struggled with periodical depression and finding her place in the world. The circumstances of her death are difficult for most to understand yet we know she is at last finding peace in a beautiful place. Sarajane you are beautiful, deeply loved and deeply missed, and forever in our hearts.

Funeral services/life celebration for Sarajane will take place Friday October 18, 2024, at 2 pm at Webb Funeral home, 1005 S. 800 E. Preston, Idaho followed by a procession to the cemetery for her interment. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
