The first of four children of Clifford LeRoy “Ted” and Alberta May Sonderegger Provost, she grew up in Midway, Utah graduating from Wasatch High School and  LDS Seminary in 1954.

She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, literary clubs and “A True Blue Cougar” with the anticipation of football season beginning this month.

She is survived by her husband, Neil Foss Nelson of Preston, Idaho, daughters: Valerie (Brent) White of Twin Falls, Idaho, Suzanne (Steven) Murray of Sacramento, California, Barbara Baird of Preston, Idaho and Kathryn (Michael) Maddix of American Fork, Utah.  Eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren with three more expected this fall.
