Richmond - Sally Johnson Buttars, 55, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Richmond, Utah. She was born on August 26, 1955 in Logan, Utah to Nason Melvin and Ione Sharp Johnson. She married Steve Buttars in Richmond, Utah on October 11, 1974.

Sally loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed all of the get-togethers they had and especially liked when they were camping or boating and playing games at the lake. She loved the Aggies and the Denver Broncos. She liked outdoor activities especially playing golf. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Steve, of Richmond; her children Stephanie (Jared) Wilding, of Rigby, ID; and Dixon Buttars, of Shelley, ID; two grandchildren Kelsey and Kinnley Wilding; two sisters Carol (Blain) Allen, of Lewiston, UT; and Connie (David) Wood, of Amalga, UT; four brothers Tom (Chloe) Johnson, of Aurora, CO; Jim (Jodie) Johnson, of Logan, UT; David (Shelly) Johnson, of Price, UT; and Gary (Annette) Johnson, of Draper, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richmond Stake Center, 135 West Main in Richmond with Bishop Jay Baggaley conducting. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Stake Center in Richmond, and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
