Ronnie S. Keller

Ronnie S. Keller passed away on January 13, 2017 in Perry, UT of natural causes. He was born on October 18, 1939 in Preston, Idaho to Urias and Annie Laura Anderson Keller of Mink Creek, Idaho. He was the last child born into a family that consisted of 14 siblings who absolutely spoiled him. He loved the joys of being raised among the people and place of Mink Creek. From a young age, he loved to talk, to laugh and thoroughly enjoyed people. Ronnie met Sharon Kendall and married her at the age of 17.

Together they started the business Ron Keller Tire. The people of Franklin County and many surrounding counties supported them to make that business grow. They were partners with their son in 3 R'S Country Tire. Ron loved that business. They loved living among the people of Oxford, Clifton and Preston before they moved to Riverdale, Idaho. He cared about his race horses, his beef cows, and the land. But those things were secondary to the people he adored.

He had a testimony of the Savior and cherished his service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The years he served as bishop in the Riverdale Second ward brought to him people and circumstances that he will cherish into the eternities.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of sixty years, Sharon Kendall Keller and children Corrie (Stacy) Keller of Smithfield, Angie Keller of Preston, Ronnie Brooks (Camille) Keller of Weston, Tige (Mellissa) Keller of Draper, Utah, Dax (Tami) Keller of Riverdale and Blane (Stacey) Keller of Riverdale. He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Rindy LaVern (Tina) Keller, his parents, his father and mother in-law, LaVern and LaVerle Kendall, all of his brothers and sisters and their spouses, with the exception of Betty Henderson, Shirley (Ruel) Keller, Reva (Arden) Smith, Jean (Guy) Smith and Shirley (Bud) Keller. He has 23 grandchildren, the loves of his life, that he loved to tease and feed candy along with 16 great grandchildren all of whom were hugged and kissed a great deal by their grandpa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Riverdale Church house 3562 North 1600 East, under the direction of Webb Funeral Home with Bishop Shawn Knutson conducting. Friends can call and visit the family at Webb Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 18th from 6 to 8pm and Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Oxford, Idaho Cemetery.
