Preston - Ronald Adam Alexander, 74, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born on May 14, 1939 in Saguache, Colorado to Clyde Johnson and Ruby Pearl Williams Alexander. He married Lawana Griffeths on October 13, 1990 in Clifton, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

He enjoyed a variety of activies including fishing, hunting and ranching. He owned what he called Junk Stores (what most would call antique stores) in Fort Bridger, WY; Ogden, UT; Preston, ID. He loved spending time with his family. One of his exciting stories was when he danced on American Band Stand.

He is survived by his wife Lawana, of Preston; his children Debra Alexander, of Monte Vista, CO; Randi (Glenn) Byrne, of Ridgeway, CO; Melanie Farr, of Las Vegas, NV; Ron (Paige) Alexander, of Grand Junction, CO; Adam (Kay) Alexander, of Purvis, MS; Andica (Mike) Alexander-Roach, of Dayton, NV; Teleisa (Jesse) Larsen, of Jerome, ID; Chelsei (Kyle) Golightly, of Twin Falls, ID; Dakota Griffeths, Jasmine Griffeths, and Alexis Griffeths and Michael Griffeths all of Preston, ID; 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by five brothers Edward (Lois) Alexander, of St Louis, MO; Glenn (Penny) Alexander of Saguache, Co; George (Gail) Alexander of Saguache, CO; Harry (Sandy) Alexander of New Mexico; and Henry (Vicky) Alexander of Big Water, UT.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dayton LDS Chapel with Bishop Wes Beutler conducting. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church in Dayton.
