Roberta Jean Rogers Hoard, 62, “Jeannie”, passed away after a valiant fight against cancer on June 25th, 2024. She was with her loving husband, her “dog” friend Pita who has been her constant companion for the last six years and one of the “angel” hospice nurses from FCMC. They lived and worked on a farm and enjoyed the adventures of summer that was so much a part of that time of life. She graduated from Lafayette High School. Jeannie and Paul lived in Victoria Texas for 26 years and in Preston Idaho for the last two years. She was a loving wife and homemaker. She loved going to concerts, long walks outdoors with her constant companion Pita and spending time with friends. Jeannie is survived by her husband, Paul Hoard, her stepdaughter Amanda Hoard Green and granddaughter Kaelyn Green her brother Steve Rogers and her sister Susie Crider. She would want to also note her Texas friends, Mrs. Elovoria Pinon, Linda, Wayne & Don Beeversdorff and Kay & Doug Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Letha Rogers, and her sister Cindy Clevenger and her Aunt Rachel. The family would like to express thanks to the many caregivers of FCMC and the friends of the Mapleton Ward.
