Preston - Rhonda Lynn Lass, 38, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho after a battle with cancer. She was born on July 7, 1973 in Las Vegas to Ronald Lloyd Lass and Carolyn Faye Gittins. Her parents were later divorced. She soon got another father, Magdaleno (Rick) Lopez. She loved him and he loved her as his own.

Rhonda loved everyone so much. Her dog Lucky is sad without her. Her niece Joey Lynn called her Honda and she loved it. She always had candy or gifts for the little ones.

She is survived by her parents Carolyn and Rick Lopez, two loving brothers and two loving sisters Brent (Kristy) Lass, Anna (Kenny) Gustin, Jennifer Jo (Joshua) Sinykin and FC3 Jesse (Heather) Lopez who is currently serving in the US Navy in San Diego, CA; her Grandma and Grandpa Lass, of Pahrump, NV; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Lass, and Grandma Wanda Gittins and Grandfather Richard Gittins, and a baby nephew Brayden Gustin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 East 1st South in Preston, with Bishop Quinn Corbridge conducting. A viewing will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston and Tuesday from 11-11:45 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. We don't like to say Rhonda lost her battle with cancer, but rather she graduated this life for one of an angel. We'd like to thank Dr. Ali Ben-Jacob and his staff at the Logan Cancer Center and Dr David Beckstead and his staff for the kind loving care Rhonda received.
