Richmond - Rex C. Anderson, 75, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 26, 2011. He was born on December 23, 1935 in Richmond, Utah to Andrew and Clara Mary Anderson. He married Dixie Carter on August 31, 1957 in Preston, Idaho.
He was a master at his business of laying tile. His love was race horses. The comment had been made that when walked off the racetrack, even after losing the race, he still had a smile on his face.
Rex is survived by his wife Dixie, of Richmond; his children Debra (Greg) Finch, of Eugene, OR; Ken (Julie) Anderson, of Eagle, ID; and Keith Anderson, of Richmond, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Harold Anderson, Ned Anderson, and Lyle Anderson, and a sister Ila Morrison.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
