HURRICANE, UTAH REA BARRINGTON
Rea Waddoups Barrington, 79, passed away peacefully at her home in
Hurricane, UT on Sep. 3, 2012. She was born Nov 9, 1932 in Dayton, ID
to Ivan and Myrtle Venvertloh Waddoups. She was the 5th child in a
family of 7 children. She married Ross T. Barrington on April 3, 1951
in the Logan Temple. They have lived in Ogden, UT; Preston, ID; and
Hurricane, UT.

Rea was valedictorian of her graduating class at West Side HS. She
was also a talented artist and beautified the family home with many
wonderful oil paintings. She was an active member of the LDS church
and served as Relief Society President, as well as other callings in
the Relief Society, Young Women's Organization, and Name Extraction.
She had a strong love for children and cherished her many years of
service in the Primary. She also served as an Ordinance Worker in the
St. George Temple for almost 13 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ross; son LaMar (Susan) Barrington;
sisters Barbara Crookston and Marie Davis; 4 grandchildren and 3
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 4
siblings - Victor, Mildred, Elaine and Bernie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, Sept 6, 2012 at the
Hurricane 17th Ward chapel, 452 N 2600 W, Hurricane, Utah preceded by a viewing from
9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Friday, Sept 7 at
the Riverdale, ID cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family at the cemetery on Friday. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
