Mink Creek - Raylo Barlow Larsen, 79, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 in Logan, Utah at the Sunshine Terrace. He was born May 24, 1930 in Mink Creek, Idaho to Norman J. and Viola Barlow Larsen. He married Bonnie Lou Hobbs on May 1, 1953 in the Logan Temple.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout his life as the Elders Quorum President, as a High Priest, Ward Clerk, and was a faithful home teacher. He served in the US Army. Raylo was a dairy farmer for many years and was a lifelong resident of Mink Creek. He was also a woodworker and made cedar clocks.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, of Mink Creek; Raylo Craig (Elaine) Larsen, of Mink Creek; Sheri (Richard) Hendricks, of Mesa, AZ; 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers Doran (Elizabeth) Larsen, of Ogden, UT; and Blaine (Connie) Larsen, of Seattle, WA; and a sister Hortense Lester, of Ogden, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Vaughan, Garold, and Bryce, and a sister Dorotha Bell, a sister-in-law Gladys Larsen, and a brother-in-law Darrell Bell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Mink Creek LDS Chapel with Bishop Kent Egley conducting. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery.
