Phillis Ilene Bower

Phillis Ilene Hendrix Bower, 70, passed away on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 at the Logan Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Logan, Utah.  She was born March 3, 1944 in Snohomish, Washington, the daughter of Arthur Leonard and Dorothy May Baker Hendrix.  She married Larry Dean Peterson on Dec. 22, 1962, in Elko, Nevada.  He preceded her in death in 1983.  On Oct. 24, 1987, she married Dean Bower in Elko, Nevada.  He preceded her in death in 2007.

She loved gardening, home decorating and landscaping.  She worked for Sears in Twin Falls and Boise for 25 years specializing in home interior decorating. 

She is survived by her daughter, Shelley (Benton) Christensen of Preston, Idaho; her son, Lyle (Ashlee) Peterson of Twin Falls, Idaho; two granddaughters, Lindsay Argyle of Weston, Idaho; Amber (Shane) McCombs of Preston, Idaho; by four sisters and one brother, Delores Brauburger of Richfield, Idaho; Pearl King of Utah; Harvey (Doris) Hendrix of Twin Falls, Idaho; Maxine Brauburger of Richfield, Idaho; Dora (Ron) Beadz of Buhl, Idaho and by one great-grandchild “on the way”.  She was preceded in death by two husbands and by three sisters, Peggy, Rosamae and Louise.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho.  Friends may call Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
