Perry Sharp Moosman

On September 26th, 2024, Perry Sharp Moosman 60, passed away in his home peacefully with his most cherished pet “Bella” by his side.

He was born May 27, 1964, in Preston Idaho, the son of William Dale Moosman and Emma Jean Sharp. Raised in the small town of Preston Idaho, he was the 3rd oldest sibling out of 8 brothers and 2 sisters. He was gifted with many talents and traits including craftsmanship, a hand that could draw and paint, and a mind that was very creative. He enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting, hackysack, anything with an engine, dirt bikes, spending time outdoors, watching his son’s play baseball, and metal artwork.

He attended Preston High School where he married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Taylor. They were married January 28, 1984, in Logan Utah. They resided in Logan Utah where they welcomed their two children. Later moving to Wellsville and then to Hyrum. He was employed as a meat processor at TRI Miller, and then advanced to a Maintenance technician at E.A. Miller. In 2006 Perry and Pam went their separate ways where Perry moved to his final residence in Smithfield, Utah. There, he pursued his passion for metal work and was employed at CNC Machine and Fabrication.

Perry was known for always seeing the good in people. He had a youthful personality, giving heart, and a contagious child-like laugh. Although he kept to himself, he did have a small circle of family, friends, and neighbors that we would like to thank for being there for him. We would like to express a sincere recognition to his nephew Kevin Moosman and dear friend Jerimi Albiston. They were his best adventure buddies and always there for each other.

Perry is survived by his parents, W. Dale and Emma Jean Moosman of Preston, Id; two sons Chad Moosman of Hyrum, Ut; Tony (Callie) Moosman of Amalga, Ut; Six grandchildren, Ian, Charlie, Kooper, Kynlee, Ivy, and Oaklynn; Siblings, Todd Moosman of Hyrum, Ut; Bart (Tina) Moosman of Idaho Falls, Id; Kim (Christie) Moosman of Preston, Id; Daylene (Norman) Wolf of Riverton, Ut; Nathan Moosman of Sheridan, Wy; Michael (Amy) Moosman of Nampa, Id; Alan (Fernanda) Moosman of Smithfield, Ut; Carrie (Ryan) Snowball of Sandy, Ut; Tucker (Nina) Moosman of Tolleson, Az.
