Paula Jean Gordon

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Paula Jean Gordon, 66, passed away on September 5, 2024, in Preston, Idaho from multiple organ failure. She was born on June 2, 1958, in Logan, Utah to Ross and Hazel Gordon.

Paula was raised in Lewiston, Utah. She learned the value of hard work on her family’s farm. She attended and graduated from Sky View High School in 1976. In 1978 she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. She was a fighter and never gave up. She had over thirty-five surgeries in her lifetime. She married and had three daughters and later divorced.

She enjoyed spending time with her family which included large get-togethers. She loved to cook and craft with her children and grandchildren. She had many church callings in the Primary and Young Women’s, which she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Hazel Gordon; her siblings; Johnny Gordon, George Gordon, Lois Bodily, Carole Smith, Drew Gordon, Brent Gordon, Cathy Hardy and Grant Gordon.

She is survived by her children; Adrian Ann Balzer (Justin), Amber Jean Bartlome (Don-Mikel), Audrey Dee Eldredge (Brandon) as well as her grandchildren, Burkley, Javen, McKenley and Roxanna. She is also survived by her sisters Maureen Elwood and Ilene Palmer (Jody) and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E. Preston, Idaho. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home and again on Saturday prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the Preston Idaho Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for the exceptional medical care they provided for her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
