Preston - Paul Thomas Jensen, 73, passed away June 21, 2011 at his home in Preston, Idaho. He was born on November 9, 1937 in Wapello, Idaho to Thomas Carl and Vera Donnetta Smith Jensen. He married Donna Neeley and they had two children and they were later divorced. He later married Joann Alt.
Paul was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was friends with anyone and everyone he met. He served in the Air Force for four years after which he returned to Preston.
He is survived by his children Daren Paul Jensen, of Boise, ID; Jodie Lyn (Dell) Tarbell, of Boise, ID; step-children Robert (Debbie) Fitzgerald, Donna Fitzgerald; and Darold (Heidi) Fitzgerald, one grandchild, 12 step grandchildren, and 14 step great grandchildren; and two sisters Lee Esther Newton, of San Diego, CA; and June Clay, of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joann Jensen, a son Paul Thomas Jensen Jr., and a sister Ruth Ann Christensen.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, ID. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Paul's name.
