FRANKLIN- Oveda Nash Alder, 90, passed away on March 23, 2012, in Roosevelt, Utah. She was born March 6, 1922, in High Creek, Utah, the daughter of Bartlett M. and Myrtle Day Nash. She married Varr G. Alder on Jan. 17, 1942, in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan Temple.
She loved dancing and bowling. She enjoyed visiting with her friends. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Karla (Wayne) Jeppesen of Roosevelt, Utah; Jacquie (Don) Guinn of Salt Lake City, Utah; Shauna (Richard) Bateman of Duchesne, Utah; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and by a sister, Shannon (Cleo) Geddes of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her husband, by a son, Kurt Alder, a brother, Lyle Nash, and by a sister, Gwen Gibson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Thursday from 1-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
