Orlo Floyd Jensen

PRESTON, IDAHO - - ORLO JENSEN

PRESTON - Orlo Floyd Jensen, 67, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born July 22, 1942, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Ernest Floyd and Lizzie Johnson Jensen. He married LaRae Stokes on June 2, 1961, in the Logan Temple.

Orlos' greatest love was his family. He spent many hours with his boys working, skinning mink, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved being a grandpa and enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren. He took every opportunity to attend the grandkids ball games and love being there.
He loved to work and enjoyed woodworking. He left many handicrafts for us to enjoy. You could often find him tinkering in the garage on a gift for a loved one. Orlo loved his sweet wife of 48 years and devoted his life to her. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding several callings over the years. He loved the Lord and recognized the blessings in his life.
He is survived by his wife, LaRae Jensen of Preston; four sons, Don (Alli) Jensen of Nampa, Idaho; Tom (Arselia) Jensen of Preston; Brian (Liz) Jensen of Preston; Jamie (Starlee) Jensen of Lewiston, Utah; fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother, LaVell (Darlene) Jensen of Hyde Park,Utah. He was preceded in death by a stillborn sister, a half sister, Mandy Tolman, and by two hal-brothers, Edwin Reeder and Albert Reeder.
