Norman Phillip Jessee

Norman Phillip Jessee passed away at his home in Richmond, Utah on March 15, 2023, surrounded by many family and friends who knew and loved him dearly. Norman was born in Springville, Utah on April 1, 1941, to Phillip Cornell and Minerva Boss Jessee. After graduating from Springville High School, he served an LDS mission in the North Central States. On June 14, 1963, he married Bonnie Jean Galloway in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a fan of the University of Utah where he graduated with a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. He was a gifted engineer who specialized in computer design.

Known for his integrity, wisdom, and extraordinary ability to achieve his goals, Norman was devoted to his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He found great joy in playing the piano and organ, and blessed many lives with his love of music. He cherished working in his garden and orchard, as well as providing loving care to his cows. Everywhere he went he valued the people he met, serving them in any way he could. He loved visiting the elderly and recorded many of their life stories. As a devoted disciple of Christ, he lovingly and faithfully served in many church callings. He and Bonnie served full-time missions in Armenia, Malaysia, and Iceland and five part-time service missions. He was also engaged many years as a family history consultant for Family Search. Norman will be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Phillip and Donald, sister Carol Ann, and grandson, Riley Lloyd. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, brothers Dean and Reed, sisters Elaine and Barbara, and his eleven children: Wendi, Norman Corion (Kimberly Neighbors), Lyn (Jennifer Chase), Colette Johnson (Christopher), Chantel, Candace, Richard (Sheena McKeachnie), Chelsie Eacho (Douglas), Kim Fowler (Paul), Krishelle Butterfield (Jacob), Shon (Sheila Wilson), 38 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
