Nicole Ann Georgi Shrives was born on May 27, 1985, in Heber City, Utah, and was tragically taken away on August 10, 2023, doing what she loved most- being outside. On that day, she was in an accident while out enjoying a ride in the RZR which was just about her favorite thing to do.
Nicole loved the outdoors, she loved hiking, floating the river on tubes, snowmobiling, swimming, or just about anything if it was outdoors.
She was the fourth child born to Gary Mark Georgi and Kelly Sue Jorgensen. She grew up in Kamas, Utah, with four of her siblings. When she was nine, she lost her sister Tessa. She met Tony Martinez, and had her first daughter, Cloie, in 2004. She then met her husband, Kevin in 2005 and had Zoie in 2008 and Allie in 2009.
She loved exploring and meeting new people. Nicole impacted everyone she met with her attitude and mindset that everyone deserves a chance. She was always on the go and was always the life of the party. She dealt with a lot of hurt but felt that her mission in life was to be there and help where she could with everyone she loved. You would always hear her say her favorite phrases, “sorry but I’m not sorry” and “uh, khakis”. She was unapologetically her, and everyone loved her for it. We’re going to miss the beautiful person she became and that infectious smile and contagious laugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Shrives; by a sister, Tessa Marie Maxwell (Georgi); by her in-laws, Larae & Dee Shrives; and by her grandpa, Richard Burke Jorgensen. She is survived by her daughters, Cloie Marie Martinez, Zoie Lynn Shrives, and Allie Kay Shrives; by her boyfriend, Toby Vollmer; by her parents, Gary Mark Georgi and Kelly Sue Georgi; by her siblings, Brandon Michael Maxwell, Trina Kay Maxwell, Lena Sue Georgi; and by her Rock and Best Friend- her brother, Tyrel Georgi.
