Weston, Idaho - - - Natividad Nieto

Weston - Natividad Nieto, 68, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2012 at his daughters home in Weston, Idaho. He was born on November 8, 1943 in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala to Natividad Nieto Landaveri and Manuela Marroquin. He married Alda Consuelo Cruz in September 1984 in Guatemala. She later passed away. He later married Luz Garcia in December 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada. This increased his family by five. He loved his step-daughters as much as his own.

Natividad loved to travel and had many opportunities as a cook on various ships that visited Europe, South America, and Asia. One of his favorite things on these voyages was crossing the Panama Canal. He was raised as a Seventh Day Adventist, but he loved God and his kids above everything else. The love for his family never wavered. He loved talking to people he never met. There was never someone that he didn't take the opportunity to talk to. He enjoyed coffee at McDonalds and made many friends there. He will be greatly missed by all his family in the US and Guatemala.

He is survived by his children Manuela (Rod) Toledo, of Weston, ID; Roxana (Orlando) of Las Vegas, NV; Vinicio (Maria Elena) Nieto, of Las Vegas, NV; Ingrid (Carlos Amaya) Fulton, of Las Vegas, NV; Karen (Manuel) Abrego, of Las Vegas, NV; Alberto Nieto, of Las Vegas, NV; Nestor Rodriguez, of New York, NY; and Marvin Nieto, of Puerto Barrios, Guatemala; 10 grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Consuelo Cruz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Weston 1st Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Cuauhtemoc Mora of the Logan Spanish Ward conducting. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church in Weston. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
