Nadine Hunter Bastian

Nadine Hunter Bastian, 76, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She was born on December 12, 1938 in American Falls, Idaho to David E. and Josephine Ashton Hunter.

Nadine grew up on a farm and learned how to work hard. She never let her small size slow her down. Most people found themselves struggling to keep up with her. She was full of life and determination. Her family might have even called her "stubborn" at times.

Nadine met her husband Stephen at Utah State University. They married in the Logan Temple on August 9, 1961. They have enjoyed 54 happy years together. She was committed to being a wife and mother, which brought her great joy. The Gospel, the Temple, and Family History also filled her time.

Nadine is survived by her husband Stephen, four children Michelle (Blayne); Rochelle, Paul, and Denise; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Michael.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 East 100 South in Preston. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery.
