Myrl William Klippert

Myrl William Klippert, 98, passed away January 25, 2018 at the Heritage Senior Living in Preston, Idaho.  He was born September 28, 1919 in Preston, Idaho the youngest of five children, son of William Frederick Klippert and Lucy Jane Dabb Klippert.  He graduated from Preston High School and attended Utah State.  He married the love of his life, Conna Kendall on March 3, 1942, in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple.  He served in World War II in Japan.

He worked as a carpenter and U.S. Postal worker.  He built the family home, he was very talented and a hard worker. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved his family and spent his life serving.  He loved the gospel and his Savior and was a wonderful example to all he came in contact with. He and Conna worked in the Logan Utah LDS Temple for 12 years.  He was a kind, loving man who will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Conna Klippert of Preston, Idaho; two sons and four daughters, Bill (Jane) Klippert of Nibley, Utah; Karen (Ken) Hobbs of Preston, Idaho; Linda (Ken) Hansen of Cub River, Idaho; Donna (Scott) Hill of McMinnville, Oregon; David (Anita) Klippert of Benson, Utah; and Kim Galvez of Provo, Utah. He was preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters, Viola Hansen, Dean Klippert, Lora Alder and Vern Klippert.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Heritage Home and Access Hospice for their wonderful care of Myrl.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 8th East, Preston, Idaho.  Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home.  Military rites and interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
