Morgan Earl McEntire

Morgan Earl McEntire, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Logan, Utah. He was born on March 13, 1952 in Preston, Idaho to Earl Ray and Carol Allen McEntire. As a child he lived in Preston, Idaho where he grew up on the family farm. After he graduated High School he attended Ricks College in Rexburg.

Morgan always loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just about any activity that would let him be outside. He would always tell his grandkids stories about working on the farm with his father. Morgan was always a hard worker and he had a couple of different occupations over his lifetime besides helping his father on the farm. Together they went to Alaska in 1975 to work on the Alaskan Pipeline Construction Project. They worked near Valdez and several other areas. Morgan also worked in Thompson Pass which is noted to be one of the toughest, most grueling sections of the Alaskan Pipeline. He worked right to completion of the project. He also drove semi trucks for many years as well.

Morgan was very proud of his children and he loved them very dearly. He is survived by a son Travis McEntire, and a daughter Corylynne Carol Cooley. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kylee Kartr, and Daxx Cooley whom he loved to spend time with and tell stories to. He is also survived by his four sisters Shannon, Silvia, Mary, and Heather; and two brothers Kelly and Antonio. Morgan will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who loved him dearly.
