Preston - Mildred Olsen Bosen, 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014at her home in Preston, Idaho. She was born on August 1, 1915 in Clifton, Idaho to Fredrick Daniel and Mary Albertina Kofoed Olsen. She married Curtis Bosen.
Mildred was a terrific cook and was known for her pies which she won many sweepstakes and ribbons for at fair time. She was a very skilled seamstress and made many wedding dresses. Mildred was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was always giving or caring for people, and was willing to help anyone.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Bosen, of Grace, ID; and Lyle Bosen, of Riverdale, ID; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis, a daughter Dorothy Walgren, a son Daniel Curtis Bosen, two brothers, and four sisters, and a great grandson Chase Bosen and a daughter-in-law Tammy Bosen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Riverdale 2nd Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Riverdale Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston.
