FRANKLIN, IDAHO MICHAEL DOUGLAS NAEF
FRANKLIN- Michael Douglas Naef, 54, passed away on May 5, 2011, in Franklin, Idaho from natural causes. He was born July 20, 1956 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Farold Douglas and Wenona Renae Durrant Naef. He married Mari Johanna Hendrickson on Dec. 21, 1981, in Franklin, Idaho.
He enjoyed hunting and camping in the outdoors. He loved participating in car shows and car derbies. He was employed at Trails West in Preston for twenty years. He was an excellent mechanic and also did quality auto body work. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, Mari, of Franklin; two sons, Jeremy Naef of Franklin and Ben (Markelle) Moser of Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandsons, Triton and Vortec Naef of Franklin; his mother, Renae (Edwin) Schreiber of Sedona, Arizona; his step-mother, Delma Naef of N. Ogden, Utah; two brothers, Chris (Tammy) Naef of Cottonwood, Arizona; Kevin (Tammy) Naef of Phoenix, Arizona; and by two sisters, Vickie (Tom) Clements of Preston, Idaho; Shelly Hall of Rim Rock, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father, Farold Naef, and by a step child, Terry Bloomquist.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Franklin Stake Center with Bishop Lynn Womack conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
