PRESTON, IDAHO - - MELBA MOCKLI SWENSON
PRESTON- Melba Ashcroft Mockli Swenson, 93, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at the Heritage Home in Preston. She was born May 9, 1917, in Hyde Park, Utah, the daughter of Herbert and Agnes Tedora Christoffersen Ashcroft. She married Christian Mockli. He passed away and she then married Cleo Swenson.
She enjoyed traveling with her siblings. She was a very classy lady. She loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling and loved visiting and socializing with her friends. She helped with Franklin County elections for thirty-four years.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Philip Mockli, Brad (Eileen) Mockli, Terri (Keith) Allen, Shari Spadafora; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers, LaRue Mitchell, Carma (Clifford) Meyers, Clyde (Erma) Ashcroft, and Gary (Pat) Ashcroft. She was preceded in death by her son, William Mockli, her parents and by her two husbands.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at noon in the Preston 8th Ward Chapel, 213 S. 200 E, Preston, Idaho with Bishop Randy Wakley conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new location, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Whitney, Idaho Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
