Maxine enjoyed traveling and horseback riding, snowmobiling and entertaining family and friends. Maxine made many temple quilts, receiving blankets with burp cloths, and Levi quilts for her family and friends. She was a member of the Scarlet Bonnet Red Had Club, Daughters of the Pioneers, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
