Max Clay Andreasen, 63, passed away surrounded by his family on February 21, 2025, at his home in Layton, Utah, from cancer. He was born June 28, 1961, in Preston, Idaho, to Kay Lamonte Andreasen and Sandra Vee Taylor.

He married Melanie Jo Martinez, the love of his life, on June 17, 2000. His hobbies were fly fishing and fly tying. He was a bareback rider in his younger years. He was self-employed and owned Mx Livestock.

Max is survived by his wife, Melanie Andreasen of Ogden, Utah; two daughters, Brianna and Jessica (Tito); by one son, Max (Madi); and by a grandson, Maxton. He is also survived by his mother, Sandra (Harold) Biggs; his step-mother, Elaine Andreasen; by his sisters, Tonya (Eric) Cisneros, Brenda (Jock) Lyon, Jeanette (Ron) Peterson; Jodi (Rush) Hotchkiss; by brothers, Justin (Shalena) Andreasen, Shawn (Jen) Andreasen, Frank (Joey) Biggs; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Kay Andreasen, and by his grandparents, Max & Mardene Andreasen and Frank & Opal Taylor.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Lago Idaho Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
