PRESTON, IDAHO - - MAURINE E. ROGERS MAYHEW

PRESTON- Maurine Evans Rogers Mayhew, 68, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at her home in Preston. She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Morgan David and Afton Smith Evans.

She loved hunting and cookout gatherings. She enjoyed her cats. She also enjoyed traveling with Norm. She cherished the many friendships she made while bartending.

She is survived by her loving husband, Norman C. Mayhew, of Preston; two daughters and one son, Debra K. (Alan) Beckstead of Preston; Russ Scott (Julie) Knudsen of Preston; Susan R. Atkinson of Preston; her mother, Afton S. Evans of Preston; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and by her sister, JoAnn Evans Henderson of Preston. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
