Mary Louise Spackman

Trenton, Utah- Mary Louise Cottle Spackman, 83, passed away Sept. 28, 2015 in Logan, Utah.  She was born Dec. 21, 1931, in Trenton, Utah the daughter of Walter and Leah Louisa Bunderson Cottle.  She married LeRoy Edwin Spackman on Sept. 28, 1950 in the Logan Temple.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1998.

 

She enjoyed serving seven years as an LDS service missionary   to the Bishop’s Storehouse in Magna, Utah in her later years.  From 1998-2014, she lived with her daughter, Barbara, in Hyde Park, Utah and Salt Lake City and then for her last year with her son, Ralph, in Grace, Idaho.  She loved visits from her children and grandchildren.

 

She is survived by four sons and five daughters, Ralph C. (MaryAnn) Spackman of Grace, Idaho; Kathy L. (Kent) Wright of Heber City, Utah; Lillian S. (Wesley) Campbell of Hyde Park, Utah; Judy S. (Larry D.) Dahle of Preston, Idaho; Scott C. (Patricia) Spackman of Rigby, Idaho; Sharon S. (Nolan) Koller of Soda Springs, Idaho; Neil Cottle (Cynthia) Spackman of Clinton, Utah; Mark Cottle (Veronica) Spackman of Trenton, Utah; Barbara S. (Clifford) Anderson of Hyde Park, Utah; 46 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Walter (Diane) Cottle of Lehi, Utah; and a sister, Leah (Doyle)Kaiser of Syracuse, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, by seven brothers, Merlin, Archie, Lee, Gordon, Lawrence, Neldon and Dee; by five sisters, Erma, Elva, Vera, Helena and Vellis; and by a grandson, Travis Wright.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Trenton LDS Church.  Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church in Trenton.  Interment will be in the Trenton, Utah Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
