CLIFTON, IDAHO - - MARY M. SEARS
CLIFTON- Mary Darley Murray Sears, 94, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho. She was born Aug. 18, 1915, in Wellsville, Utah, the daughter of Henry Parker and Mary Jane Darley Murray. She married Lester Parley Sears on April 11, 1934, in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in all of the auxiliaries. She enjoyed bowling, embroidery, crocheting and making ceramic dolls. She loved to spend time with her family. She was a homemaker and also worked for the Westside School lunch program.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Clark M. (Norma Jeanne) Sears of Meridian, Idaho; RaeDene (Gordon) McCombs of West Valley City, Utah; Doyle (Wendy) Sears of Preston; Calvin R. (Cheryl) Sears of Inkom, Idaho; twenty-six grandchildren, sixty-four great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, by a son, Lester Paul Sears, a daughter-in-law, Raelene Winward Sears, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, by a granddaughter-in-law, and by three brothers and one sister.
The family would like to especially thank all those who have cared for and about their mother. "Once upon a memory someone wiped away a tear, held me close and loved me, thank you mother dear."
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 12 Noon at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Clifton Idaho Cemetery.
