Franklin - Mary Lou Parks Willard, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Ogden, Utah at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born on march 18, 1935 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of James A. and Olivia Nielson Parks. She married George H. Willard, he preceded her in death.

She loved the outdoors. One of her favorite things to do was to take her little trailer up the canyons to go camping, fishing, and hunting. She loved her needle work and her dogs.

She is survived by her six step children, Clark H. (Susan) Willard of Canyonville, OR; David G. (Margarete) Willard, of Harrisville, UT; Stephen J. Willard, of Ogden, UT; Gloria Williams, of Oakley, CA; James A. Goodyear, of Amarillo, TX; and Victoria (Dave) Whalin, of Roy, UT; 15 grandchildren, and numerous great grand children. She is also survived by one brother, John Parks, of Roy, UT; and one sister Lucille (Grant) Bybee, of South Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, four brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
