Marvin Ray Spatig

Marvin Ray Spatig, 89, passed away January 23, 2024, at his home in Cub River, Idaho of natural causes.  He was born July 16, 1934, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Ernest Alfred and Norma Irene Allred Spatig.  

He served his country in the US Army National Guard for six years.  He enjoyed being a farmer throughout his life.  He was a kind man who will be missed.

He is survived by his younger sister, Barbara L. Spatig.  He is preceded in death by his parents and by four brothers:  McKay Ralph, Thurman Lloyd, Ernest Warren and Boris LeGrand Spatig. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho.  A viewing will be held Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.  Military rites and interment will be in the Mapleton Idaho Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com.  The services will be streamed live and may be watched Monday at 11 am (MST) by clicking on the following link:
