Preston - Mack Wayne Alder, 57, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho. He was born on January 8, 1954 in Preston, Idaho to Mack Webb and Ruth Ann Larsen Alder.
Wayne was an avid gun collector and enthusiast of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served a mission to the Southern California mission. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a bee keeper for many years.
Wayne is survived by his children David Alder of Preston, Amanda Alder of Murray, UT; and Alice (Matt) Johnson, of Preston; and one grandson Tylor Johnson; two sisters Jeanne (Ed) Farmbrook, of Wenatchee, WA; Mary (RC) Hinrichs, of Preston; and Ralph Alder of Nampa, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Georgie Alder.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 East 1st South, in Preston with Bishop Doug Larsen conducting. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the stake center.
